Family-Friendly Summer & Fall Events in Portland

Parkwood Clinic is Excited to Join Community Events Across Oregon This Summer & Fall

At Parkwood Clinic, community connection is one of the most meaningful parts of the work we do. We love supporting children and families not only inside the clinic, but also out in the neighborhoods where  play, connection, and memories happen every day.

This summer and fall, our team is thrilled to participate in several wonderful community events throughout the Portland metro area. We hope to see familiar faces, meet new families, and celebrate the vibrant communities we serve.

Saturday, June 6 — Blender Dash Color Run

Join us for the colorful and energetic Blender Dash hosted by the City of Tualatin. This family-friendly color run is full of movement, fun, music, and community spirit — all things we love supporting at Parkwood.

We are excited to cheer on participants and celebrate joyful movement and connection for children and families of all abilities.

June 26–28 — Tigard Festival of Balloons

We are looking forward to attending the beloved Festival of Balloons in Tigard. This three-day event brings together hot air balloons, family activities, entertainment, and community celebration.

Be sure to stop by the Kid Zone and say hello to our team! We are excited to participate in one of the region’s most iconic summer traditions.

Saturday, August 15 — Multnomah Days

As a clinic rooted in the Multnomah Village community, we are especially excited for Multnomah Days 2026.

This annual neighborhood celebration is filled with local businesses, music, food, and family activities. We love being part of a community that values connection, inclusion, and support for local families.

Sunday, September 20 — DSNO Buddy Walk

We are honored to support the Buddy Walk hosted by Down Syndrome Network Oregon. The Down Syndrome Network Oregon Buddy Walk is a meaningful celebration of inclusion, advocacy, and community.

At Parkwood Clinic, we deeply value opportunities to support and celebrate children and families of all abilities, and we are grateful to participate in this inspiring event.

Sunday, October 18 — West Coast Giant Pumpkin Regatta

Fall fun continues with the unforgettable West Coast Giant Pumpkin Regatta hosted by the City of Tualatin.

This uniquely Oregon event features giant pumpkin races, family entertainment, and festive seasonal activities. We cannot wait to celebrate the fall season alongside our community.

We Hope to See You There

At Parkwood Clinic we believe strong communities help children thrive. Whether through pediatric speech, language, feeding, and developmental support or through local community events, we are grateful for every opportunity to connect with families throughout the year.

If you see our team at any of these events, please stop by and say hello — we would love to meet you!
